  Story of " The Clever King"

          

Once upon a time there was a king in a country. He was very hard working and intelligent he always worried over his people because they were very lazy. One day he wanted to teach them a lesson so he put a big stone in the middle of a busy road. Under which he hide an iron box with a lot of money. The big stone almost blocked the way. The people were coming and going around the stone. Nobody took initiatives to remove the stone from the way. They merely blamed the government for not removing it. One day the king himself came to that place with his men. Thousand of people got together there around the stone. They were very curious about what the king wanted to do with the stone. The king had removed the stone by his men but to their surprise beneath the stone there was an iron box which marked, for the man who removes the stone. The kings men immidiately open the box and found it full of money. Of course they came to know that it was a trick played by king to teach them a lesson,''No pain no gain''. They were ashamed of their laziness. Since then the people of his country begin to work hard and were gradually in progress.
